Out of curiosity since i'll never run one, whats so special about the grandvilles? Do they have the thick frames up front like the rivys? Can't remember who's frame i felt at b4c(either shelly or hansen), but the damn thing felt at least 3/8 thick in a factory hole..

Picked up a few this week. The Ford has mostly all the undercoating on the frame yet. Stupid clean car

80’s mark vi fronts, doesn’t matter how hard a bumper is if it’s not gonna stay on the car .

All 71-6 BOP full sizes GMs have the same front stub geometry …. Riveras are different…. Frame thickness varies but I wouldn’t say ‘73s are the thickest I have two 74’s that are thicker than ‘73 that is sitting in the pile… boxed centers are likely on hardtops but not guaranteed either. 73’s do have a really long rear ‘bumper bracket’ but it is thin and seems to be a hardened steel that likes to snap not bend. Have eight 73-6 Pontiac's sitting in the yard for comparisons

I meant of the 1-3’s the 3’s are the thickest, in 74 they go to the non-rivy stubs

The only things that change are maybe some front bumper bracket bolt access holes and some frame thicknesses but frame thickness is a crap shoot pending where cars where manufactured from
