All in all I was happy with the show, disappointed in myself for some stupid failures, but the car was good enough to compete to the end.... I liked courthouse better as a whole, track was better, infield was nicer, but this place wasn't that bad... Russ, Tim, and the rest of smash-it, we as drivers couldn't ask for a better show or harder working officials for all of us. You guys are the best big show promoter I've seen, keep up the good work... Don't know how you manage to do all you do in 3 days but damn I bet it's crazy... See ya next year..

Great show, will back again next year! Didn't care that the compacts only payed out to 5th place and we were charged 50 for the consolation heat which had over 40 cars... Where did that extra cash go and why didn't it pay out further places in the feature? I'm sure it made it into the Clark's pockets. The last Smash It show I ran they paid back maybe half the entry fees for compacts. That is one of the reasons I don't run for them anymore.

Why is everyone always out to accuse the worst in a situation?
How about the entire fairgrounds rental? Porta potty rental and cleaning, grounds repair, staff payroll, advertising, shirts, equipment rental, police payroll, the list goes on.. this isnt a county fair show where it takes 6 or 8 people to run it, police are already there, grounds arent paid for nor is the repair or trash collected by the promoter... This is a business to them and to continue to build it better every year a portion of the money goes back into the business... Everyone that entered knew what the payout was before the show... I thought it was the best b4c ice been to yet... they made some changes and it definitely helped with the pace... there was at least 4k paid in maddog money this year that wasnt last year.... to improve it takes money guys!

Best bash so far....They ended up digging up most of the track and as I was told they were going to have to pay for the stuff they dug out. But tim and russ dug that crap out because it was for a tractor pull and would have been an even worse track. The walls were an issue but being short on stuff to stuff behind the walls made that decision to lay them down. If they are stood up with nothing behind them then its even easier to be put up on the walls when they fall over. I liked the layout of this place 100 times more than the other one. Yeah the track was not the best, but I guarantee every driver there had to stay conscious of them or it could turn out bad. If I even had a complaint it would be that the porta johns were too close to the stands and food. That's just not what you want the wind to blow at you while watching the derby or eating...lol
Remember guys this was the first time here. Once the fair see's the money generated for them, they will be more willing to help out as well.

From what I heard over the intercom it was $1,000 for first, $1,000 plus an old iron olds for the mad dog. And one deserving driver took them both home. That driver put on a hell of a show as far as I am concerned. It was a very fun derby to watch. Im only guessing, but from where I was sitting in the stands. It looked like a hard driving woman in an alky burning 500cid 76 no radiator bone stock Caddy that was giving that big bastard all it had. But don't quote me on that. I could be very wrong in my assumptions.

Great time as usual. I liked this years additions in kicker class. Only complaint is on mother nature on the 80s kicker feature.

I thought it was a great show. It was nice to see more of it but missed alot of the people who used to stop and visit the trailer. I would only make 1 rule change to the TBTC class. DI allows a 3/8" thick strap by 3" wide from a-arms to bumper. It would help alot of cars compete. Hopefully see everyone in 2017. I like this idea. I also like their idea on no painting the inside of the cars to make it easier for the inspectors to see all the seam welding that isn't allowed.
