My only complaint is the walls. I was very happy with everything else. At least Jo-Jo was able to get you off the wall. Many others weren't as lucky... lol It was not an easy task. The easy task was putting a number of cars on the wall

I like the short walls personally. Better stay on your toes or someone will shove you over. Adds another element to the game. I like seeing them up and over. Stay in the mix or get punted. Sometimes you cant stop that freight train even when your in the mix but hey it is what it is. Dont change a thing!
An appetite for destruction is more than an awesome album.

Crowds love it when cars get sent up and over.

Get close to the wall, you have the chance to go over. Stay active and away from the wall, less likely. Im definitely not saying that the guys that went over weren't being active and making a good show, but maybe there was a reason for the short walls. Obviously neither of you ran a full sized car at this derby. The outcome of a derby should never be determined by track conditions, the track layout/design, or the promoter. I got stuck three times during the weekend on the sorriest walls in the sport. Those are not even worthy of being called walls. They are just obstacles to get stuck on. If they are going to continue to have shitty walls then they might as well leave bumpers and axles on the track as well. I guess the crowd likes watching cars loose to those obstacles too right?

I never once said I liked the walls, it's definitely stupid to have the blocks lower than the bumper height. I'm just saying, maybe Tim and Russ thought something might work so they tries it. I don't like watching a derby where stupid sh*t takes you out, and I sure as hell hate driving in said conditions.

It was a shame to see guys taken out so easily on a wall especially when a lot of them travel from so far away. However, not once do I recall seeing either of the Brauns stuck on a wall. Just sayin...
One area of improvement would be red flag situations. It took quite a while to get everyones attention. All 3 days I saw drivers take big shots while they were sitting still for a red flag. Need a big horn trackside, not just piped through the sound system.

What were the payouts of the tbtc and 80's class aside from the winning cash prize?

I said it while the show was going on, but i really hope Smashit gets a different crew of firemen, or someone that is "qualified" to use the extinguishers per your insurance. Those guys were taking their sweet ass time.

By far the best bash ever. Keep the rules the same and have a great show in 2017. I 100% agree. I wouldn't change the rules at all.

I thought it was a great show. It was nice to see more of it but missed alot of the people who used to stop and visit the trailer.
I would only make 1 rule change to the TBTC class. DI allows a 3/8" thick strap by 3" wide from a-arms to bumper. It would help alot of cars compete.
Hopefully see everyone in 2017.

Great show, will back again next year! Didn't care that the compacts only payed out to 5th place and we were charged 50 for the consolation heat which had over 40 cars... Where did that extra cash go and why didn't it pay out further places in the feature?
