There where several things I was disappointed about with the tech line. But now that I've set back and looked at the big picture. With inspecting that many cars in that amount of time they did a pretty decent job. Of course I'm not gonna be happy I had to cut my car apart lol. Good Job tim,Russ, and crew

Hats off to the Smash-It crew. You guys did an outstanding job and the MAD Dog incentive in the heats made the show much better than last year. You can never please everyone but I would say you guys did one hell of a job.

The ad says "too nice to derby" Apparently he has never seen how clean many of the cars are at the bash.

One thing I thought was curious was the variation in the car count for the heats. Why would one have 19, another one have 25 for compacts?, I believe I counted 15-16 in one heat for TBTC, 11 in others... If I had to make it out of a heat that had 4-6 more cars than another heat I'd be pissed. . Great show but I believe it should be equal - watched a buddy in the 80s weld have a much larger heat then at end of heat after continuing to run they took them all- just an issue that needs considered- still a great show - jus make it equal - pm sent on another rule q?

In years past we would fill the first 2 heats by letting drivers draw there heat when they pass inspection this way we could keep the numbers even. This year we put all 4 heats in the hat and drivers selected them randomly as they passed tech. I know how many entry's we have signed up and that's the numbers used for the heats. As we all know some drivers don't run for one reason or another so that's how the numbers got off this year. moving forward maybe we will have to figure something else out.

I thought the heat drawing method was fair. Pick up a chip, record the heat number, put chip into discard bin. I would imagine if every single entered car showed up the heats would be even. And anyway if the smashit guys moved anyone from one heat to another (to even the heats up) I am sure people would be saying that the smashit guys are stacking heats against certain drivers lol. In terms of constructive criticism, I would say make the track bigger in both length and width. Mainly to help the feature cars out. But as a whole, I thought this was an awesome show, we are ready to build anoth caddy for next year.

I was ok with the no weld rule but the no bolt rule and unlimited nine wire till i got told i cant do certain things with nine wire also i seen alot of welding on the toyota cars everytime they went back to the trailer not sayin they was plating up anything but i wouldnt think the same thing was breaking to get to be able to weld everytime ya get out of the heat other than that killer show 80s cars turnt it up this year and an attaboy to doodle with a 3/4 track mad dog hit ill be back next year

The ad says "too nice to derby" Apparently he has never seen how clean many of the cars are at the bash. The last four years I have run cars that didn't even have a discoloration on them. Next year won't be any different as I see how a 2-door Cadillac can hold up against a field of Fords.

My only complaint is the walls. I was very happy with everything else.

Had a great time at bash as always great action I hope the shady actions that the Clarks keep making don't effect there show they have a good thing going here if you allow one or ten people to cut somthing everyone should have that chance instead of loading them especially since the rules say you get 3 chances through inspection but whatever no different than last year with the shady weld rule some could weld big sections and some were told to stop I really like the new venue just needs more seating brought In other than that good show as always see you all next year Not sure what car you are talking about but if you tell me the class and car number I will give you the reason. And this year we had a no welding on the frame rule for the feature. TBTC #402 LS Powered White Caddy..... Was told by officials he had to cut some things and he agreed, then the officials took a "lunch break" halfway through inspecting the car, and then after their "break" they said the car was overbuilt and told him to load up and go home. Not very professional in my opinion.

My only complaint is the walls. I was very happy with everything else. At least Jo-Jo was able to get you off the wall. Many others weren't as lucky... lol Lots of guys got shoved pretty far over (more than I've ever seen) , like Dakota Jones, he FLEW over the wall. I guess they were a little shorter. Still great show just disappointing to see that happen to those guys.

Maybe they used the wall to try to keep drivers active and not to hide at the wall. Get close to the wall, you have the chance to go over. Stay active and away from the wall, less likely. Im definitely not saying that the guys that went over weren't being active and making a good show, but maybe there was a reason for the short walls.

By far the best bash ever. Keep the rules the same and have a great show in 2017.
