Anyone know what kind of things were taking out all the W-bodies in the compact class? Saw a bunch of W's with straight fronts getting out. Was really hoping to see more get to use the whole car up.

Mine bent the sub and unibody rail on driver side so far it put a hole in side of trans and broke the rack.

This was a great derby and we had a great time hanging out and talking with everyone. We would like thank the drivers of the cars that ran our JerkyPro logos. Tony Miller from Miller graphics in the #96 car that ran the 80's wire up class. Also Jack Fistler Jr. in the # JR7 wagon that ran the TBTC class. We would look forward to seeing both again next year. Hopefully next year we will have a vender both setup.

What a great show!! We had perfect camera placement for the Hinen rollover and from my angle it looks about 80% fender. It was the best Bash to date and the turnout was amazing!! We will be uploading pics this evening on our facebook page. Event DVDs and BluRays can be ordered at www.cheatersvideo.net

Thanks to everyone that stopped and talked with us at the show. We had a great time as usual. We had lots of bad unexplainable luck this weekend but we turned a bunch of negatives into positives. I had absolutely no steering for 95% of my heat and I tried to hide it for as long as I could. Kenny had steering issues as well and had a ton of carb issues in his heat. Even with that we made it to the feature with straight cars. Kenny broke another steering component and ended up getting stuck for 10th. My car decided to take a big shit right there in the feature. I tried some things different and obviously I didn't have the results I wanted. Nonetheless I ended up getting 6th after a tiny power steering fire took me out. That motor just would not stop. Thanks to M1 for getting me a cradle that took a pounding. I don't know how long I hit with the pulley protector but I do know I never lost a belt at all....just lost everything in front of that. We will see if we can make another run at a win. Each year I get closer and closer....I will say if the front of my caddy had not of went down I would've been able to do some damage instead of being a punching bag for what seemed like forever. Sore is an understatement. Most people would be happy with a 6th but knowing me and Kenny left something there will eat at me. Stupid luck makes u better....

The 2 hinen got full tracked in the drivers door and flipped on his top by the 44. 3 hinen got 4th(I'm pretty sure) My mistake. Me and probably 100 people in my section of the grandstands thought it was a square DD hit. Would've been a perfectly clean tire shot(and it still mostly was) had he not tried to pull the door...what can you do? www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8VVMSQQbAI

Had a great time at bash as always great action I hope the shady actions that the Clarks keep making don't effect there show they have a good thing going here if you allow one or ten people to cut somthing everyone should have that chance instead of loading them especially since the rules say you get 3 chances through inspection but whatever no different than last year with the shady weld rule some could weld big sections and some were told to stop I really like the new venue just needs more seating brought In other than that good show as always see you all next year

And this year we had a no welding on the frame rule for the feature.

I will vouch for the frame welding for sure. My rear frame split and they would not allow a fix. Saw them load a feature car for minimal frame welding too.

I forgot to give a shoutout to the Hinens. We became friends last year after discussing their builds and the old man Jeff says we owe him now for keeping Kenny out of trouble in the heat and then not killing me in the feature...lmao These are great guys and congrats on a great finish old man. Tough luck to Jeremy but I'm sure they will be back again. Met a lot of great people again this year and truly enjoyed it guys.

One thing I thought was curious was the variation in the car count for the heats. Why would one have 19, another one have 25 for compacts?, I believe I counted 15-16 in one heat for TBTC, 11 in others... If I had to make it out of a heat that had 4-6 more cars than another heat I'd be pissed. Compacts they asked the drivers if it was OK to put a few more in the last heat cuz there were some people trying to pass inspection. My only complaint about compacts is that I asked if we could weld the 2x2 shock to the side of the frame and got told no. There were several cars there that did this including the raffle car. Overall though very happy first time running there and will be back next year.
