Wabash County fair will be hosting a auto cross and demo derby again this year. Auto cross will be July 8th at 7:00 pm and our all so famous awsome derby will be July 11th. Both events will be at the Wabash county fair grounds in wabash, IN. Rules and payout will be posted here soon. Until I get it on here check out our Facebook pages. It has all the info you need. Wabash County 2015 outdoor are an events. Any questions let me know.

RULES ~~
MINI’S RULES: { ages 12 yrs to ?? yrs} 1. 105 ½ wheel base 2. 4 & 6 cylinder motors only 3. Completely stock bodies & any front stock automotive bumper. 4. Electric fuel pumps must have a shut off switch on inside of driver’s area. 5. Halo cage is allowed. 6. No unibody seam welding unless bent 7. Can patch if bent. 8. Any Tire Will Be Allowed 9. Can weld doors 6” inches on 6” off 10. Hood must have a 12” inch hole cut in them 11. Preferably a roof sign 24” long with bright numbers 12. Wire or strap in windshield from roof to cowl. 13. ANY ONE UNDER 18 MUST HAVE PARENTS SIGN !!

Rust damage can be fixed with the same size metal with 1” inch overlaps. 4. There is to be no painting or undercoating anywhere on frame! 5. All factory frame holes must remain open! Engines, Transmissions & etc. 1. Yes you can motor swap {Chevy to Ford } 2. Motor mounts may be welded, but no extra bracing to frame. 3. Radiators must remain in stock location. You cannot run extra radiators or water supplies. 4. Transmissions & oil coolers are allowed inside engine compartment. 5. Transmissions, oil coolers, Battery boxes, & gas tanks cannot strengthen frame in any way!! 6. Battery’s must be removed and placed inside car mounted securely and covered. You may use 2 – 12 volt batteries. 7. All fuel cells, fuel lines must be covered in area were they may not become pinched or cut!! 8. You may have 2 spots of chain or wire coming off front side of motor going to engine cradle only. Tires: 1. No studded tires, no valve stem protectors, no screws holding tires, no double tires. {D.O.T TIRES ONLY} all wheel weights must be removed! Cages: You are allowed a halo cage {sheet metal to sheet metal} WITH down bars welded to frame 3x3 materials for cage nothing larger. “No protectors of any kind in stock class! “ Body: 1. Drivers door – may be welded solid only! All other doors 6”on 6” off, cannot weld top or bottom 2. No wire limit on doors, YOU CAN wire bottom of doors to frame. 3. A 12” hole must be cut in hood above carburetor. 4. Hood can be wired down in 6 spots “no hood or wires in front of radiator! ""HOOD LATCHES OFF PLEASE!! "" 5. Rusty panels may be patched using no more than 1” overlap. You must use same thickness of metal. 6. If car has been previously ran you may repair body to keep it from falling off. 7. No internal bracing of body 8. No interior seam welding of body parts 9. No bars in the rear window 10. Car must have a safety strap in windshield from roof to cowl 11. Firewalls must be in original place, with no extra metal or weld added. All holes must be covered to prevent hot fluids from entering the driver’s compartment 12. The 2 front body mounts & the 4 back body mounts may be change {no rubber needed} ½” bolts & 1” washers are permitted !! Trunks: 1. 12” hole in trunk 6 total spots of wire can be used on trunk {2 spots to bumper!}. 2. No wedged or tucking of trunks or no welding. .Roof signs: Are recommended they may be welded or bolted! Signs may not be any more than 24” long. Bumpers: 1. You may change bumpers must be car bumpers! 2. Must remain in stock location 3. You may lightly weld bumper shocks or brackets & bumpers on ! Suspension: Must remain stock, no altering A-arms, steering, tie rods, ball joints! Rear ends: 1. Must be stock! No after market rear ends!! 2. You may weld spider gears to make possy. Driveshaft: No special driveshaft must be stock!! All vehicles must have working brakes!!
TRUCKS RULES:••••••••• No 4 wheel drives – {½ or ¾ tons only, No dually’s! Frames: 1. Weld seams ok. 2. Can patch if bent or rusty with same thickness of frame. Engines: 1. Any motor or transmission. 2. Gas tanks must be securely fastened in bed behind cab lines covered. Bumpers: 1. Any automotive bumper. 2. Loaded bumpers are ok {load from inside} Hoods: 1. Wired in 4 spots 2. Must have 12” hole in hood 3. Must have windshield wire or strap in center from roof to cowl. Tailgates: Can be welded solid Cage: May have cage in drivers compartment that attaches to protectors around gas tank Rear-ends: No 1 ton rear ends! Roof signs: Preferable 24” long with bright numbers
MOD FULL SIZE: NO~~~> "OUTLAW CARS " FRAMES: 1. No concrete in frames or nothing in frame. 2. You can weld frame seams but NO plating unless it’s bent. 3. You can pitch your frames & weld washers to frame for body bolts. 4. You can pin your frames in no more than 6 spots. 5. Rear humps may be plated 22” inch’s in length with contour of frame & on outside only. 6.Rust damage may be repaired with the same size metal. No more than 1” overlap. ENGINES: 1. Engines and transmissions may be interchanged. 2. Motor mounts may be welded. 3. Transmissions and oil coolers allowed. 4. Battery’s must be relocated, you can use 2 {12 volt} batteries covered & fastened securely. 5. Fuel cells must be mounted securely behind driver’s seat and covered. 6. All fuel lines must be ran were they will NOT be cut or pinched. TIRES: 1. Any tires, doubled, screws in rims, valve stem protectors will be allowed! 2. All wheel weights MUST be removed! REARENDS: 1. 8 lug rear-ends are permitted {NO DUALS} CAGES: 1. A 6 point cage is ok {NO cage in the doghouse & trunk!!}with exception to rule 4 2. Can weld cage to frame. 3. A gas tank protector is allowed 4. Kickers are allowed {BEHIND} A-ARMS….. PROTECTORS: 1. Distributor, Gas, Pulleys, Carburetor, ALLOWED!!! TRUNK: 1. Welding, tucking, and wedging is allowed you will need 12” hole to see in trunk during Inspection. BUMPERS: 1. Any automotive bumpers allowed {may be loaded} on inside of bumpers. 2. Can weld all factory brackets, shocks, seams. SUSPENSION:•••••••• 1. May strengthen A-arms, tie rods, and steering. 2. Car does not have to bounce!! 3. You are allowed trailing arms to leaf conversions. 4. NO FLAT SPRUNG CARS!!! 5. 5 leaf max stock leaf package. FUELS:•••••••• 1. You are allowed any fuel combination
