1. Any American-made sedan or station wagon 1980 AND NEWER
2. Helmet, seat belt, and eye protection must be worn at all times. Long sleeves and Long pants required.
3. Any protests must be brought up during the drivers meeting.
4. Any questions call first. If it doesn't say you can don't do it. Cars must be stock unless noted otherwise. No painting of the frames. If the car is black it must have a 12" x 12" roof sign.
5. Judges decision's are final. All cars are subject to re-inspection at any time before, during, or after the event.
6. All glass, plastic, and interior must be removed before arriving to the event. Trailer hitches and brackets must be removed.
7. Any engine of choice is permitted. . MUST USE STOCK FRAME MOUNTS AND STOCK TRANS MOUNT. You can use a engine cradle, dist. protector, and harmonic balancer protector. Skid plates allowed and may only attach to engine oil pan and trans oil pan and be no more than 1" wider than trans, no bracing allowed above the bolt flange of the trans pan, aftermarket bell housing allowed.
8.Transmission cooler allowed, aftermarket steering column, shifters and slider drive shafts allowed.
9. A 12" x 12" inspection hole must be put in all deck lids. Deck lids MUST be in original position. Some tucking and creasing is ok. Doors may be welded trunk can be welded 5"on and 5" off 1/4" x 3" flat , outside seam only.
10. Original gas tank must be removed and replaced with a boat-type tank or fuel cell. Moved inside of car behind driver's seat but no further back than rear axle. Batteries must be moved to passenger side floor board and securely fastened These must be covered with A rubber or non flammable material .
11. No frame or body seam welding will be permitted. Repairing sheet metal is limited to where the battery box and gas tank and drivers area of the floor boards of the car.
12. NO FRAME WELDING. You may collapse and weld bumper shocks there must be at least a 1“ gap between bumper and frame using only the factory bumper shock if using a bumper shock it must be in factory location. Bumper may be welded directly to frame but the bumper shock must be removed completely. No adding metal. .Bumper swaps ok must be factory car bumper no seem welding of bumpers. NO SHORTENING ,TILTING OR COLD BENDING of frames will be permitted. Rear frame may be notched or dimpled to help it roll.
13. Hood- wire ONLY. 8 double strand of #9 wire 2 may go around bumper and or frame. Hoods must be open for inspection hood hinges must be in place and operable . (12" x 12" hole over carburetor).
14. Angles for cross member can't be longer than 5" and must be within 12" from factory location.
15.FACTORY TIE RODS MAY BE REINFORCED, ALL OTHER FRONT SUSPENSION MUST BE STOCK, you can weld upper a arm this can ONLY be done in one manner (remove rubber bump stop from a arm and weld at that location only, you can open that hole up to a 1" diameter hole and plug weld hole shut no metal can be added) no other welding allowed, front does not have to bounce
16. Factory body bolts may be changed to ½” bolts you must use a bushing or spacer there must be a 1 “ gap between body and frame, you can use 3"x3" washers. For the front 2 body mounts at the core support you may use a 4" tall spacer.
17. Rear coil springs may be welded, wired or chained to the rear end Not the frame. All suspension components must be of factory car origin. cars with watts set up may put brackets on the frame to fasten trailing arms to but they must bolt to the frame, max (4)-1/2" bolts to be used.
18. You cannot change coil spring to leaf spring set ups.
19. Car can't be higher than 22” to bottom of bumper and no lower than 15" to bottom of bumper.
20. Any factory 5 bolt rear end permitted. Rear end braces permitted. Must use FACTORY trailing arms, they may be reinforced you may use 1" all thread in place of shocks on rear end but must be in factory shock location.
21. Cage- you can have a 4 bar cage around drivers compartment must be sheet metal to sheet metal only max 4"x 4" tubing, dash bar must be 5" from fire wall and 5" up from trans tunnel, bar behind seat must not be no further back than where the kick panel meets the bench seat and be 5" off of the highest point of the floor/ drive shaft tunnel. can be inside car or inside the doors, you can have a gas tank protector it must be 5" from all sheet metal and only be attached to the bar behind the seat, must not be wider than 24" roll over bar will be permitted but must be straight up and down not angled forward or back and can only attach to cage not the frame.
22. WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO RE-INSPECT, CUT, OR DRILL ANY CAR AT ANY TIME. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT BREAKING THE RULES SET HERE FORTH YOU WILL FORFEIT ANY AND ALL WINNINGS AND OR PRIZES YOU ARE DUE. . NO REFUNDS ON ILLEGAL CARS.
23. NO OTHER MODIFICATIONS MAY BE MADE TO CAR UNLESS THEY ARE STATED IN THE RULES ABOVE.
BONE STOCK CLASS BONE STOCK RULES 1980 & NEWER CARS ONLY
1.MUST BE 100% STOCK, entire drive train must be same make as car ( Chevy to Chevy ford to ford and so on) Must appear to be factory engine to car with stock exhaust.
2. Engine must be mounted with stock mounts in stock position. No welding of mounts bolted only. No homemade cross members, cross members must be stock and bolted in not welded
3. Doors must be chained or wired. No more than 6 places.
4. Trunks must be chained or wired. No more than 4 places. TRUNKS MUST BE OPEN DURING INSPECTION! Car must have deck lid and or tailgate No welding or adding metal. Trunk lid must be in stock location. No tucking, wedging, pre bending, smashing, folding or anything else you can think of. No welding washers for holes.
5. Hoods may be wired or chained in 4 spots. X chain or 2 strands per hole. It must be sheet metal to sheet metal only. No welding washers for holes. Must be 12" hole in hood in case of fire. Remove hood latch!!! Hood must be open for inspection.
6. .Must use D.O.T. tires DOUBLES PERMITTED, no tractor, implement, or foam filled tires no valve stem protectors
7. You may leave stock gas tank in stock location or you may relocate the fuel tank to rear floor of car if this is done you must use a fuel cell or boat tank no stock fuel tanks permitted inside of car. Must only have 3 gallons of gas. You may be asked to drain it if the gauge doesn't work.
8. Windshield may be left in car, WE RECOMMEND WINDSHIELD BE REMOVED!
9. The following must be removed prior to entering the fairgrounds, windows , headlights, taillights, all chrome and mirrors. Interior must be swept clean of debris and glass.
10. Stock type springs and shocks. No solid suspension. No spring risers, wire, chains or any weld on rear ends or rear spring pockets. Cars must bounce & cars must be STOCK!!!!!
11. YOU MAY WELD SPIDER GEARS IN REAR END TO MAKE IT POSI. NO GEARS OR AFTERMARKET AXLES PERMITTED
12 Paint front doors in contrasting paint. Example if the car is black paint doors white
13. Do not strip under the hood. Battery MAY be LEFT in stock location. But you MUST put rubber mat over it or spray foam around it not excessively BATTERY MUST BE SECURELY FASTENED. Do not spray foam on anything else. YOU MAY MOVE THE BATTERY TO THE FLOOR OF THE CAR YOU MAY LENGTHEN CABLES TO THE REACH BATTERY ON FLOOR NOT THE WIREING HARNESS CAR MUST START WITH FACTORY IGNITION THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED
14. YOU MAY USE AN 80 & NEWER BUMPER ON CAR THEY MUST BOLT ON IN FACTORY LOCATION AND MANNER YOU MAY WELD WITH 4 1” WELDS ON THE SHOCK PLATE TO BUMPER
15. Read all rules carefully and follow them! It will be a cheap easy build. Any questions call! There will be no stretching or bending of any rules or you will either run in the modified class or go home.
MODIFIED MOWER RULES
1. MOWER MUST BE A FACTORY AVAILABLE MOWER LAWN OR GARDEN MOWER (NO HOME MADE FRAMES)
2. NO REAR ENGINE LAWN MOWERS ARE ALLOWED.
3. ENGINE MUST BE FACTORY LAWN MOWER ENGINE SUCH AS BRIGGS & STRATTON, TECUMSEH, ANON ETC.
4. ALL FRAME MODIFICATION AND FRAME REINFORCING WILL BE ALLOWED.
5. TRANSAXLES MUST BE FACTORY AVAILABLE MOWER TRANS AXLES BUT ANY REINFORCING AND/OR WELDING OF SPIDER GEARS IS PERMITTED
6. ENGINE BAY REINFORCING IS PERMITTED BUT MUST BE CONTAINED INSIDE OF HOOD AND MUST MAINTAIN FACTORY BODY LINES
7. ALL MOWERS MUST RUN A FACTORY HOOD AND FENDERS AND HAVE THE HOOD EITHER SCREWED OR WELDED DOWN TO DASH PANEL AROUND DRIVERS AREA ( NOTE IF HOOD IS FIBERGLASS YOU CAN MAKE ONE OUT OF SHEET METAL ONLY BUT MUST BE THE SAME SIZE AS THE FIBERGLASS ONE)
8. MOWERS MUST HAVE GOOD BRAKES AND FORWARD AND REVERSE GEARS AT THE START OF THE HEAT.
9. GAS TANK MUST BE SECURED AND HAVE A CAP ON IT (ANY GAS AT ALL LEAKING AND YOU WILL BE ASK TO SHUT IT DOWN)
10. LEG GUARDS ARE MANDATORY AND MUST BE BOLTED AND/OR WELDED FROM REAR FENDER TO FRONT OF FOOT REST OR FRAME (CALL ?)
11. A REAR BUMPER IS PERMITTED BUT IS NOT ALLOWED TO EXTEND MORE THEN 4 INCHES OUT AND IT MUST STAY IN BETWEEN THE TIRES ALSO NO SPIKES,SHARP EDGES OR ANY PROTRUSIONS ALLOWED (BUMPER CAN BE HOME MADE WITH I/H BEAM OR SQ. TUBING. CALL?)
12. RE-GEARING AND CHANGING OF PULLEYS TO INCREASE SPEED IS PERMITTED AND ENCOURAGED.
13. ANY AND ALL DRIVE TRAIN MODIFICATIONS IS PERMITTED BUT MUST STAY BUILT DRIVEN.
14. ALL MOWERS MUST USE LAWN MOWER TYPE WHEELS TRACTOR TREADS AND CUT TIRES WILL BE PERMITTED BUT NO TIRE CHAINS OR DUAL WHEELS WILL BE ALLOWED.
15. MOWER DECKS MUST BE REMOVED
16. ALL HEAD LIGHTS AND ANY OTHER GLASS AND PLASTICS MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE YOU ENTER THE PITS.
17. BATTERIES MUST BE REMOVED FROM MOWER AND ONLY USED TO JUMP START THE MOWER BEFORE THE HEAT BEGINS IF A PULL START IS USED DRIVER WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RESTART ENGINE DURING THE HEAT.
18. NO FRONT BUMPERS YOU CAN BUILD UP THE FRONT OF THE FRAME AND UNDERNEATH THE GRILL TO HIT WITH. THE FRONT OF THE MOWER MUST BE A SMOOTH FINISH FOR SAFETY.
19. ROLE-OVER* DRIVER IS OUT OF HEAT ALSO IF A DRIVER TOUCHES THE GROUND WITH A HAND OR A FOOT DRIVERS IS ALSO OUT OF THE HEAT
20. FOR SAFETY IF A MOWER DOES ROLE OVER ALL DRIVERS MUST STOP AND WAIT UNTIL THAT DRIVER UP-RIGHTS HIS MOWER AND GETS OFF THE TRACK
21. PLEASE PUT YOUR NUMBER ON EACH SIDE OF YOUR MOWER OR YOUR HELMET SO WE CAN TRACK THE WINNERS.

STOCK MOWER RULES
*. DRIVER MUST HAVE LONG-SLEEVE SHIRT, AND PANTS HELMET MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES MUST HAVE SOME SORT OF EYE PROTECTION ON.
1. THE GARDEN OR LAWN MOWER MUST HAVE A FACTORY FRAME, NO HOMEMADE FRAMES. MAX 19 H.P. ENGINE BELT DRIVEN AIR COOLED
2. MUST BE A FRONT ENGINE MOWER NO REAR ENGINES ALLOWED. ALL MOWERS MUST HAVE FACTORY STOCK ENGINES
3. REINFORCING THE FRAME IS PERMITTED. TRANS AXLES MUST BE FACTORY, REINFORCING OR SPIDER GEARS IS ALLOWED REINFORCING AROUND THE ENGINE IS ALLOWED BUT CAN'T BE OUTSIDE OF THE HOOD
4. HOODS MUST REMAIN FACTORY, HOODS CAN BE SCREWED DOWN OR WELDED, IF HOOD IS FIBERGLASS, YOU CAN MAKE A HOOD FROM SHEET METAL BUT IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE ANY BIGGER THAN THE FIBER GLASS HOOD WAS.
5. BRAKES MUST BE IN OPERATION WHEN PULLING IN FOR THE HEAT RACE, MUST ALSO HAVE FORWARD AND REVERSE
6. GAS TANK MUST BE FASTENED WITH THE CAP ON, IF IT COMES LOOSE OR GAS LEAKS YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED
7. SOME SORT OF LEG GUARD IS MANDATORY BEFORE ENTERING ARENA, MUST GO FROM REAR FENDER TO FRONT FOOT REST OR FRAME

11 BATTERY CAN BE USED TO START THE MOWER, BUT THEN MUST BE TAKEN OUT BEFORE ENTERING ARENA. IF MOWER IS PULL START YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO USE IT ONCE YOU ENTER ARENA. ABSOLUTELY NO BATTERIES FOR ANY REASON CAN REMAIN IN MOWER. IF YOUR MOWER REQUIRES A BATTERY YOU CANNOT RUN IT. MAXIMUM ½ GALLON OF FUEL
12 THE FRONT OF THE FRAME UNDER GRILL MAY BE STRENGTHENED FOR HITTING BUT MUST BE A SMOOTH FINISH. FRONT BUMPER CANNOT COVER FRONT TIRES MAXIMUM 6 INCHES TALL, MUST BE 6 INCHES OFF THE GROUND, 2 INCHES FROM FRONT FRAME OF MOWER, BUMPER MUST BE FLAT NO POINTS OR SHARP EDGES. NO BRACING AT ANYTIME MAY COVER FRONT TIRES- INCLUDING LEG GUARDS.
13 IF A DRIVER ROLLS OVER HE OR SHE IS DISQUALIFIED, IF ANY PART OF YOUR BODY TOUCHES THE GROUND YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED ALSO.
14 IN THE EVENT OF A ROLL-OVER THE EVENT WILL BE STOPPED UNTIL THE OFFICIALS GET THE MOWER BACK UP RIGHT.
15 NUMBER MUST BE SOMEWHERE ON EACH SIDE OF THE MOWER, NUMBER MAY BE ON HELMET ALSO.
16 NO WHEEL WEIGHTS ON ANYTIME. NO HEAVY MODIFICATIONS OTHER THAN WHAT IS STATED IN THESE RULES WILL BE PERMITTED MOWER MUST RESEMBLE A FACTORY MOWER
17 ALL OF THE RULES AS FAR AS WHEN YOU ARE IN THE ARENA WILL BE EXPLAINED AT THE DRIVERS MEETING. IF MOWER DOESN'T PASS INSPECTION OR PARTICIPANT REFUSES TO FIX SOMETHING, THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS.
18 OFFICIALS HAVE FINAL SAY, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHECK MOWER AFTER
THE DERBY
19 PULLEY ON THE ENGINE CAN BE NO BIGGER THAN 4” AND THE PULLEY ON THE REAR END CAN BE NO SMALLER THAN 3”

POWER WHEELS DRIVERS MUST BE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 3 TO 9 YEARS OLD
the stock battery can be replaced with a 12 volt mower battery only, it can be positioned anywhere inside the car and covered. ,,,Not in the passenger seat,,,,, secure the doors and hoods so they don't come open with a bungy cord or rope.
Seat belts are not mandatory but recommended, helmets are mandatory though.
any rollover bars will be allowed as long as we feel they are safe and don't reinforce the cars.. so bring your saws.....
ALL POWER WHEELS MUST SET LIKE THE STORE BOUGHT ONES NO RAISING OR LOWERING THE FRONT OR REAR OF THE POWER WHEELS
SCREWS MAY BE ADDED TO TIRES FOR TRACTION.
