Realized I never posted any pics of my 97 intrepid How many runs did you get out of the intrepid? 2 runs. i could have gotten a third had i had a better welder the bumper ripped off a few hits into the 2nd run and i wanted the car dead cause i didnt want to store it over the winter so i just let it have it. with no front bumper that engine with no water in it didnt let me down until i started losing chunks of the engine on the track then it shut down.

if i could find them cheaper than $400 for 1 id run another in a heart beat the thing was a tank with no front bumper. theres only 1 of this generation listed in ontario and its $750. this was years ago learned so much since then and ran so many cars.

Do the newer gen models hold up as well as the older gens? Never ran a newer style but from what I’ve watched of friends who’ve run them I would run 1 in a stock show. Rear ends pack in fronts sit a little lower

I ran both and really didn’t see a difference The only issue I had with the older style is you cannot run the 16” rims that come with the car. That tire is a wider tire and the strut coil spring the plate the bottom sits on acts like a tire machine and if that strut gets hit the rubber comes off the rim. Only issue was a easy fix smaller tires

That and the fronts sit so low most bumpers clear your bumper. Got to take the struts out and swap the coils on the strut for a heavier coil spring get that front end up a bit cause you can’t put taller tires on it
