I replaced all sensors into new box. Would it do that if I have a leak somewhere?

Plastic two piece I want to find an aluminum one to try and make a carb set up for next year if I can Ok so I decided a had to change my intake but since I built headers I wasn't sure if the pt cruiser intakes would hit them so I bought the lower half of a pt cruiser aluminum intake and just built a box to house the throttle body, vacuum lines and sensors. It works but likes to die when sitting idle. And I love the amount of room left up front now. Looks grate wish i would have thought of that insted of the compleet pt intake but mine had the same problem theres some things different from the stock intake i havnt had the chance to figure it out but i haf plenty of power

I never had that problem with mine but i ran stock intake first time and a pt cruser the second run. I pretty much dry blocked it first run had a leak right before heading out to thw track and they made us wait forever to go onto the track second run ran the lines looped biggest problem with these cars is the intake and the motor mounts least in my experience broke mine second run and pinched shift cable couldnt get out of parj in the pits to go out to the main

Well I'm going to try it again this time as a mod build. Reworking cross member, build new motor mount on front and going to cut down the frame and put my loaded bumper on.

Might be a dumb question but would these even remotely be competitive in a 80^ full size bonestock class? Basically can put an 80^ bumper on it move the gas tank and battery and one bar behind the seat. It'd be for a good friend of mine just don't want him getting killed

We can only bolt on a new bumper. No reworking stock mounting to the frame minus maybe running bolts all the way through the bumper and to the frame. But we'll see when we start getting the car ready it'll be for a first time driver just for fun.

The stocl bumper only bolts to a thin pice of tin on the end of the frame theres really no good way to bolt unless u can weld a 1/4 in thick plate or something to the end of the frame i welded a pt bumper to the end of my frame last year for its second run thats how i found that one out ripped the tin covers off the frame guess it was welded to them more than the frame. I have pics of the after math of the second run if someone can upload them for me

If you look at some older posts I have pictures of the stock intake and one I built. Not much room at all between stock intake and radiator. And the core support for the radiator on these is thin and not much meat to it.
