I agree. I buy every single caddie I can get. Only to junk them so nobody else bothers with them. I just think someone made the assumption years ago that caddies were junk. Now people who actually think about the build and look at everything could offer a different insight. So Stromi do u think I should run my driver 88 or spotless 73 caddy at bash. I mean one is boxed rear frame and the other isn't. That caddy has to be junk

All Caddys are junk. I do have fun getting my ass kicked in 68-76s though. I might win a derby one some day and then I can prove to everyone that I actually can beat an Impala with a junk Caddy.

The Caddie will eat the impala ALL day long with those rules!!! No question! i think its mostly car builder and luck with what works for differnt drivers and builders ! what won the bash last year .... 1976 impala lol. lots of caddys there.

I was not there, but I HAVE seen one of the guys on that team win a couple of other HUGE shows and one with a NON-tilted Lincoln. And I have seen the builds of said cars. But you also have to think, MOST Caddie drivers are there to make sure others DON'T win! lol

IF YOU DO NOT ALTER THE LOCATION OF THE CADDIES FRONT BUMPER BRACKETS, ITS A LOSER AGAINST THE IMPALA. THE CADDY HAS BRACKETS MOUNTED WAY TO HIGH TO BEGIN WITH, IF YOU ARE COMPARING THE 2 CARS WITHOUT ALTERING THE BUMPER LOCATIONS, THE IMPALA IS THE WINNER....

He is a better driver than the guys that had the caddies. Hands down. And yes I was in a caddy and can say that. Only a group of guys at bash can and are able to drive for the win. I once saw a bone stock 86 bonneville win a show where there was a loaded and kickered caddy. Does that mean u will take the bonneville too or is the car the only thing that wins a derby?

Well built cars, teamwork, and good driving is what wins derbys. The make and model of the car driven is almost irrelevant these days. JMO
