You should see all the people on Facebook crying about it being rescheduled. It's a safety issue and I agree w Bo 100%. I'm really considering throwing a car together now

Terrible luck 2 yrs running. I drove last yr 3 hrs from Ohio. It never stopped raining. Thought about going this yr but had a race scheduled the same day. Not racing tomorrow bc of weather so thought about heading east until I seen they're in for it as well.

Tough decision for any promotor to make, but Bo made the right one. Unsafe= Not fun

The "right" decision ended up being the wrong one. It stopped raining at 2:30 this afternoon so everything would have went well! Is he going to cancel again at Brookville if the weather is going to be bad? Maybe just delay it till October? Oh, but it might be cold then!

And if he would have had the derby today, the rain wouldve came down in buckets. Give the guy a break he had a tough decision to make and he did what he thought was the best for everyone! At least its rescheduled.

And if it had kept raining and the weather was crappy I would bet my bottom dollar that you would have been the first in line to piss and moan about how it should have been canceled and he is nothing but a greedy promoter out for nothing but to line his pockets with cash and doesn't give a rats ass about the safety of the drivers or the fans.

I put my full trust that he made the rite decision to post pone this show kinda sucks it was moved to a different location but by no means would I second guess the call to postpone. Idk of any other promoter in sw pa that has been able to put together this caliber of show to date other than mr Lockwood . My hats off to him I'm in his corner even with my car not being able to participate I have no hard feelings and will still do my part for the cause whether behind the wheel or in the stands . For those who have bs to talk an wine take that shit elsewhere .

Thank god for rain, my car wasn't done and the extra time made it easier on me and my guys that help me. Even if my car was done I wouldn't complain about the postponement of the show. Bo is a good promoter who made what I would say the is the right call on this show. Rain = no spectators= no income. Stop complaining and enjoy the show on July 11th. Again good call Bo and crew the weather was horrible here in Ohio all day today and I wouldn't have wanted to derby in it anyway. See you all July 11th.

OK, question and idea at the same time--why couldn't the inspections have been done on Saturday and the derby run early Sunday afternoon? For the record, I still think it should have been run at Westmoreland but I will still come and watch at Brookville.

I'm not calling Bo a greedy promoter and I'm sure safety was a concern but I have to think lost revenue had a lot to do with the decision also. No promoter is in it to lose money, I don't know if it could have been handled differently but like I suggested in the other post, could it have been run on Sunday?
