The wire class should be Wire only no protectors or engine cradles Whether its 80's and newer or any year. Weld bumpers bolt your body down, add your cage, wire your doors and go have some fun.

Koontz quit stirring the pot! Lol. Leave well enough alone guys. Derbying, is like every other auto sport, it evolves. We don't need another variation of a " stock", " wire ", or whatever class. Let progress happen guys. You hear everyone wanting to take the sport back to 1991, why? Money? Tell you what, when NASCAR or the nhra go back to running amxs and Chevy 210s, I'll have a show for wire and go $1500 round backs.... Ok rant over, back to work... You to Koontz.

1- any cradle allowed to make engine swaps easier and save block ears? no pulley or full cradles....no strength added but will same some engine blocks 4- two #9 wires OR can chain 7-factory bumpers ONLY for full frame imperials, gives many other cars a fighting chance or this will end up being a full frame/wagon heat 8- Allow weld in centers. They do not strengthen the rim, but would allow different rim choices
Sliders? after market steering? steering components, stock? ride height? how much bounce?

do you think that 70s wire would take from the tbtc class? if so is that a bad thing? has 80s wire taken from the smash it class?

Will get more involved I believe and some to come out of retirement. It won't take away because how much money is involved for tbtc.

Exactly I feel this class would bring a lot of the old timers back.. Weld bumpers, drivers door, and any drivetrain of choice. Plus I think the fans would love to see old school cars all torn up..

I think the old iron mild weld class would be a good one, something like jokers rules because they allow just enough but every car is junk after the heat, clean simple 2 week build car. Weld doors 4 bar cage no protectors no sliders weld bumpers and who cares about tire rule cause frame bending is way better than flat tires...
