It looks a little big for that small trailer. i don't think it'll ever be small enough to fit properly not matter how many hits it takes

You can make a killer belt buckle with the gas cap cover.

Just wondering, is it allowed to turn around, and drive backwards? Steve Forward racing only till the derby at the end where you can drive any way within reason, but it's very rare someone will hit in reverse. those cars do have a good nose but the Trunk of Doom has been winning derbies in the USA for 40 years. They were banned everywhere because of the trunk, not the nose.... to get the full effect your boys ought to at least consider throwing in a few hits in reverse during the derby portion of the event.... you'll be amazed at how long it takes to bend it

I guess whoever is unfortunate enough to run into the back of it will also learn that lesson, what are they like for taking side impacts, over the wheels?

Last night was the banger racing world final where we were treated to not only the return of Wayne's Imperial (now in the hands of running mate 239 Steve 'Nemesis' carter) but also two fresh imperials from 190 Steve 'Pikey' Bailey & 341 Andrew 'Jonesey' Jones. 190's imperial was actually sourced from the UK but 341's was originally imported from the USA earlier this year. These 3 drivers are 3 of the best crashers in banger racing so you'll be pleased to see they put the cars to good use. I'll update this thread with more photos but these are what i took for now; Jonesey's car when it reached the UK: on track: A new rule at this event this year allowed drivers to go the wrong way on the corners which meant drivers could attack other cars head on and through an outside-inwards t-nones. Both cars spent most of the night going the wrong way stopping cars as they came by (photos and videos to follow) Nemesis also had his own turn of going the wrong way but his best hit of the night was when he blitzed this new style ford station wagon an absolute treat His car went onto take several hits in return from a Mercedes station wagon which eventually stopped the car for the rest of the race. Later on in another race He attacked a Lexus GS300 head on which bent both cars pretty well, you can see this and the above hit in my video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jehWzFH0N8Imore photos and videos to come during the week!

Still awaiting some more after photos but here is the best of the action the 3 treated us to. we'll start with 239 Steve 'Nemesis' Carter who was given the black imperial featured on this thread to take out and race: His first go at using the front end came from this big shot on a new shape Ford Wagon getting some cool air time After taking a hit over the rear fender, he fired it back up, turned it around a met an unlucky rusty Jag head on His race was then ended by a heavy shot over the front from long time rival 521 Ash Riley (Mercedes wagon) The merc backed off and continued to race, these particular cars are becoming more and more common for their strength, the below photo is of the same car at the end of the night after junking a volvo head on Nemesis got the car back for another go, despite their great size the imperials seemed very easy to spin and toss aside via the passing traffic, not something we'd have expected now facing the wrong way he emerged into the passing traffic giving 522 Tim 'Weevil' James (Lexus GS300) a mega head on which saw both cars front end snap. It's worth pointing out the Lexus was 100% stock & took the impact very well, the A pillars staying totally straight & front wheels still relatively in line 190 Steve Bailey, had actually qualified to take part in the main world final race but due to a puncture he was DQ'd early on The car was found on eBay for £1000 in here in the uk Lastly, 341 Andrew Jones who probably had the best run out of the 3. His car was originally imported from the USA for racing (black car on the trailer above) he made good use of the rule which let drivers go the wrong way as you'll see! attacking a fibreglass hearse which ripped the hearse like paper All 3 cars were running with European Ford drive trains & Jaguar rear ends, the 2.8 V6's gave the cars plenty of power to charge around like bulls in a china shop. If anyone currently has any Imperials for sale, any large manual transmission V8 motors or general imperial spares please get in touch. As far as i know all 3 cars are running again on the 25th & they'll be on the look out for more of these cars to use next year!

i'm not 100% sure on which model that one is but i think it is a mid 90's E class W210 wagon the wheel base of the sedans are 111.5 in (2,832 mm) according to wikipedia. I'm not too clued up on this modern stuff, only the old junk lol

To truly appreciate an imperial it has to have a chevy v-8 in it. You sir are strongly incorrect, a big block mopar would be more adequate.
