Like I've said before, with the right rules you can draw cars!! I know other shows or promoter that has drawn from 20 to 45 cars at each of his fair shows so far this year!! It can be done, the shows that was given example of were basically outlaw shows or 5' class and your not gonna get many cars at those events, basically a filler class!! Mods is were it is for your investment to get your moneys worth, people are realizing its not worth the money to build a one and done car!! Car counts speak for it self, stock is not where its at!!

Mods may be where its at but bottom line.... Nobody around here wants to run against Jones and Co. You guys proved that by wiping out TE Promotions and the Rouse Mod class. Somebody tell me I'm wrong.

So basically your saying if we started running stock you guys would quit that also?? If thats the case maybe u guys should man up and build something to compete instead of whining to promoter to change rules to stock cause it sure looks like you guys that said you wanted stock hasn't shown much interest according to car counts!! Tell me if I'm wrong!!

I'd almost guarantee it. I dont see why you guys havent tried it yet, if you wanna put Jr out of business. Just look at the uproar you caused when you asked if he would take more teams for the team show. Not my team but, I know at least one team that was gonna back out if he let you guys in. I dont know what it is but this is just how I see it. No disrespect intended......

Here's a good example. Look at the Shelbyville show. Nobody wanted to get hit by Toast so nobody even thought about hitting him the entire feature. Well except for Shawn Reece at the start but he payed the price..LOL. I heard the groans in the pits. He basically won that derby when he pulled in the park. If not then, he did for sure after that heat race...

Nobody wants Jr out of business, he had good rules for both classes, but he changes every year, if he had kept his mod rules with a few modifications there's no reason he couldn't of had 20+ cars at each of his shows!! There's room for both!! Look at Fausett and Smash it shows both are getting 20 or more cars a show!! Good rules will bring the cars, good guys show had awesome rules and I bet next year that show will be huge!! I think connersville will have good show with the hard class and the stock class cause you have a choice, this year his rules just discrminated against the guys who like to build a car cause its a lot cheaper and easier to build one car and run 6 derbies then build six cars and run 8 derbies!!

I agree totally with that. Richmond even had a pretty good set of stock rules. Take body mounts out, Pitching, Hump plates. Stuff anybody can do without breaking the bank.

Yup. Forgot about your hit. You had about the same luck as Shawn. You weren't shy about it though. Laid it on him.... LOL

I totally agree with you..Just think how many pissed of fans there is gonna be at Franklin when they pay $10 to watch a 1-2 hr show. There is enough time to run stock and mod class if he would just do it along with the other classes.Give the fans there money worth because they and the fair board are the ones u got to make happy,if not .they will find a promoter who will.

If the mod rules were so f*ckin awesome then why weren't cars showing up to those shows last year when jr made it perfectly clear, if there wasn't a good turnout then they were going stock? Please explain that to us all.

Stock and FWD will slowly take over as more full frame cars run out around here

Yes turnouts were better back then. My point is, for whatever reason, all those years with mod rules burnt many drivers out on the sport IMO. Either it be too stiff of competition, lack of funds, lack of friends or lack of those rules being enforced. I dont know. Just what I've seen happening....
