IMO I Would Go With Moser Hobby Stock Axles. I Would Venture To guess That Most Of The Axles Out There In The Derby World Are Moser Hobby Stocks.
What Are You Hearing Bad About Them?

You can't just buy the stock replacement Mosers. That's about the same as a stock 12 bolt axle.
Like 61J said, get the hobby stocks. They're made to flex and "bend" back and the flanges and bearings are bigger.
Overall a much better axle. I wouldn't waste money on the stock replacements.

Yeah I was going to upgrade to a 33spline. I've heard of quite a few guys breaking there Moser 33 spline axles this yr in my area.

I've been running stock replacement 31 spline mosers for a couple of years and have had wonderful luck with them.... have smoked a few bearings tho... but they last a hell of a lot longer than stockers

If i was you id push right up to a 35 spline hobby stocks and HD axel tube ends. I hear the 8.8 fords are the better diff to build though

Impin ain't easy.. I was going to go up to 35 but I was told that they take so much material off of the carrier that the next problem that I will haves that my carrier will probably start cracking in a 10 bolt gm
Joker 14.. I don't really want to waste the money to test axles this is why there is a forum for people to ask question and opinions on stuff like this. Basically I'm asking if people have ran both brands and what there opinion is on them. Sorry I asked for u to read this and give me your opinion.

They said it was a BOP 31 spline axle if that helps.

I have a nine inch not a 10 bolt in I'm running Yukon 31 spline in it with Ftm axle savers in back brace. Just ran pro mod at Sturgis indoor in Coffey warmed my driver side rear tire up in it still in good shape. So there's my opinion. I know its not a 10 bolt in not two brands asked about.
