certainly would with all the other bs like a hoffmeister cradle, additional plates etc but the sub on these like to blow all over the place and they'll just kink at the other numerous weak spots. Just something to think about-you were telling me how to build cars and what an expert you are just a few months ago?

Just something to think about-you were telling me how to build cars and what an expert you are just a few months ago? I think your barking up the wrong tree with that one. I am just looking at the pic where the plate "fell" off and they don't look too thick, however I understand ever bit helps.FYI I do know a bit about these cars and mopars, but expert I am not. However if you are talking about the R body thread, you in my opinion are wrong. In stock class you can not move shocks, therefore you collapse and weld them. If you can move shocks back extended then yes, but that isn't stock.Either way my opinion is mine your opinion is yours, if you don't like it thats your issue and there is no need to drag it into another thread and be a keyboard warrior.

I had one under a 78 new Yorker 2 door so the method to the madness is about a structured as a BIA vs C clip in GM

I had one under a 78 New Yorker 2dr as well. I had the thing about 5 months before I looked a little closer and it surprised the heck out of me! My only thought was I believe they stopped the mopar cop cars in 77 so maybe they had some extra subs laying around that they were trying to get rid of.

Personally after running several I don't think they are any tougher than a standard frame. You expect them to be with the extra reinforcements but I just haven't seen it in the results.
