Damn...I was gonna build a ford this year. Caddies are for pimps and hoes. Looks like I better start looking for a wagon...

Sounds like some typical ford guys. If you cant modify EVERYTHING thats wrong with em off the assembly line and have a huge car build advantage over every other make and model then its not "fair". I think the fords and subs both have a "strictly business" end that could shred a wagon up pretty quickly. Believe me, I got a front row seat last season for that. Few of ya even told me in line last yr that you would shred wagons and imps with the fords you had?

We still are allowing tilting, shortening, 10" bumpers shocks, changing out aarms/spring pockets, dist prot tight, tank prot tight, tucking trunks, modification of watts link suspension, etc. The only two things I can see that you would want to do more is maybe the 03 cradle swap and a hump plate. Your cars are every bit as hard as last yr when they were dropping old gm humps and skying front ends. The rule change intentions were to allow some of the old school guys a chance to better compete by allowing subs and wagons and try to create a more level playing field where it comes down to the driver/drivetrain.

Gas tank protector does nothing for a Ford with no hump plate just saying but the nose will still shred whatever is in its way lol

All I would ask for is the idler arm bolt.. and or 2 chain links to tie motor down at any location on the frame instead of limited to between the a arms.. minus that I love the rules! No matter what I'm pretty sure it'll be a great show and have more cars then 90% of county fair shows in ohio... old iron or new they will be drove hard till the end and I'm done with my ideas before I get myself in trouble lmao
