I keep on blowing out header gaskets!!! What does everyone else use?!? All suggestions and replys will be greatly appreciated!

I used the gaskets that are intended for manifolds, cheap and they usually come in gasket sets anyway. They are the perforated stainless style, they are pretty thisck and seem to work well for me.

^^^Yep^^^ Same here, if we use any at all. If the flanges are in good shape they really aren't necessary.

we use the crushable aluminum or copper gaskets available at speed shops .a little pricey but a great seal

I don't usually use any on a derby engine but on a street or strip engine I definitely use the copper ones.

The problem is your headers. I got two years out of a cheap set of gaskets with my schoenfelds
