But the winner will be from OHIO! You are likely correct. However people don't always remember the winner, but they never forget who put on a show. JMO

Carolina boys/ lady were definitely stars of the show this past year. Ohio did dominate the top 10 but wouldn't have been nearly the same show without all the folks from the south !!!

I agree the Caddilac Heaven cars were tearing chit up. Along with others. Very exciting show with cars flying over the barriers and all.

I don't think there was any sandbagging from anyone from anywhere there last year. Everyone was giving em hell. And that's the way it is suppose to be. I feel that is the key to this shows success. That's what the fans pay to see. Drivers came from many different states to do battle and everyone drove hard regardless where they were from.

I think the only reason Ohio dominated the top 10 was because of the ratio of Ohio cars there. I mean it is in us Ohio driver's back yard.

I do have a question for you southerners, why dont any of you run the 80 and up class? All of you run the tbtc class. Theres nothing wrong with that I was just wondering.

Theres nothing wrong with that I was just wondering. there are a few that does run the 80 and newer I know of 2 from TN that has ran just about all the Bash shows we have put on. Think of it this way if all the drivers here in Ohio could still find old style cars all over the place none of us would have heard about 80 and newer cars. Think back 10 years ago you couldn't give a ford away to a derby driver.

Old iron cars are everywhere down here, we are comfortable with the build, we scrap 80s cars and I know I'm going to take a tongue lashing for this one cause someone is going to get their feelings hurt but I think the old iron class is a little less extreme than the 80s class. A little easier to perform better, little better odds of making the feature and that can be gratifying to those of us that know we cant win. I think the spirit of that tbtc class is exactly what is titled. Of the dozen cars we brought last year 45% made the feature. Box Chevy wagon, old gm wagon and a couple cadillacs. Not all of them had all the cool guy parts on them. Dig this, you don't have to have a cradle, slider, trans bell/brace, big motor, big trans, big cooler, cable pedal, aluminum radiator, joker suspension and steering, big money tires or rear end to make the feature in the tbtc class. If you want to win you do. .. and you need some friends but for some to come under built and have a good chance at making the feature at a $10,000 to win show is enough. I encourage small show out of state drivers to not be afraid to run that class just because it's big money.

My favorite quote of last years show was "dont those southern boys know that there is a feature?"
