should fan shroud be removed? wondering if that will cause problems later if not removed.

I remove them and make my own out of corrugated plastic sheeting like they make election signs out of.

This is a more elaborate version of what most people do. Usually its just a couple retired election signs and some zip ties. I overdo everything that I do.

CARDBOARD WORKS, BUT HAS A TENDANCY TO START FIRES. THE BLUE FOAM CAMPING ROLLS FROM WALMART WORKS NICE AND MELTS INSTEAD OF BURNS.

Seed corn signs, which are made of the same corrugated plastic as the signs Stromi uses.

imma try an find those signs. possible go with the blue foam not sure if i ever seen it in walmart but they got everything ill end up trying that too im sure.

I tried the foam/cardboard poster boards from Wal-Mart. Not that easy to work with and not so good once it gets wet. You can order plastic corrugated sheets off Ebay, find them on the side of the road, or stop by a sign shop.

Nope, that's the main reason to use them. I never tried the blue foam camping rolls thing so I have no opinion on them.

great definettly gonna look round for those then. do you do anything for wheel wheels or remove them...leave them? I just want any tips anybodys willing to help me on cause this is my first derby car build
