i use Amsoil partialy because it is sponsored to me, but also because it is good quality and has many years of high quality use. I wouldnt use a cheap(quality) oil because tearing down a motor every year gets spendy and I cant afford it. Usually the cheaper costing oils are not as good as the bigger name oils. There is a reason that the bigger name oils got their name.

Many oil analysis of the warren offered Super tech oils show it to be a contender with most oils costing much more.

i can agree with that. does super tech offer a synthetic oil? Amsoil is a synthetic oil that has been tested in motorsports for a while now, which is a big part of why I use it. Has not failed me yet.

Yes they offer full synthetic, well as synthetic as most engine oils in the US. I'm not saying some oils arn't worth there price, but judging by price or even name means nothing in the oil world. Real testing of the oils both new and used give a better indicator of what its actually worth.

You all can bat around who has the best oils out there but here's the real deal. Whatever oil you choose make sure it's synthetic. Our biggest issue in debt cars is heat. Not friction, not cooling, not wear or lubrication but heat. Regular oils no matter the brand can only stand about 230 degrees, after that no matter the brand it can't take it. Synthetic oils on the cheap side just because of their structure can take a min of 280 and some as high as 340 depending on the weight. So grab the low lying fruit on the tree first cause we all at some time or another it will see some heat. Sent from my SPH-L720 using proboards
