Which brings me to this ? Has anybody ran two electric fuel pumps before maybe on another switch with a Y block and a valve? Did in a couple of our circle track cars, after having one die and costing us a race. That's what happen to our buddy at the macon team show one hit away from the heat win and the holley red locked up. Went out on the track to see what was going on and the pump was so hot you could barely touch it. Got it back to the pits took the pump apart removed the filter that is inside the pump put it back on and the engine fire right up, but he put a new on for the next day.

No. They are just being sarcastic. Crack the egg and pour it in. No shell required. Lol

Personally I prefer bars stop leak and brazing, but why not throw in some bisquick and maple syrup while your at it. Maybe lay some sausage links on the core support and have a well rounded breakfast... lol

How about flipping the hood over completely so the hood skeleton is on the outside for strength.

^^I've never heard that one. However, It kind of makes sense... Most newer hoods at least, are designed from factory to teepee, they have natural bend points. Flipping it over would possibly eliminate the teepee affect if you are limited on hold downs for the hood in a stock type build.
