Can of carnation instant breakfast into a radiator with pin hole leaks suppose to stop them, I've also heard of people using pepper and crushed up cigarets to try and stop them too.

Had a little bit of a leak in my radiator this year. Put a couple teaspoons of pepper in it and ran it through and the leak sealed right up. Didn't know if it was true or not, but figured that it might have been worth a try just to see what happened.

Ive heard of eggs to seal a radiator too. Never seen or tried it though.

eggs do work had a 85 pariseanne for bone stock and it had a pin hole right in front. so figured wth its a bone stock got it up to temp with rad cap off and threw one egg in put cap on and bam in a few min it slowed then stopped completely. Used that rad for 5more derbies till i ripped it in half.

Holy crap, 6 derbys on one egged up radiator. Im lucky to get a couple runs out of a brand new all aluminum radiator.

yes it does work couple eggs some pepper and wash it all up with some dish soap and you have a great bradiator remedy....

I've heard of guys filling tires with soybeans and water then letting it sit in the sun for a few weeks turns the soy beans into almost concrete. I was also warned if you pop that tire it has a slight odor. Lol

Holy crap, 6 derbys on one egged up radiator. Im lucky to get a couple runs out of a brand new all aluminum radiator. im my 15yrs of doin this ive used 2 rads lol last yr put a small hole in my 3core but had it brazed and bought a new alum for a back up

I've used an egg or two on a driver. Later on thru the winter I had a plugged up heater core though.
