I have great luck with the transmissions, most of which are right out of the junkyard and no rebuild. Got some with a dozen or more runs on 'em. People who have trouble are either not doing the setup basics like kickdown adjustments or do too many shifts at WOT. "lift when you shift" and life is good.

I always adjust my 1-r bands but I didn't realize the kickdown adjustment was needed for derby. What's it do?

This is my problem I am torqueflight stupid, that and turbo 400s are pretty tough.
