Do you guys use bumper shocks collapsed on the front of an imperial with a pointy or do you guys just hardnose it to the frame?

Ok thanks, first time building an imperial. What do you guys think if i put my 74 impala rear bumper on the rear of my 65 imp. Would it be a good idea?

any of the pre 1974 bumpers have a front section but nothing behind it. A bumper pretty much has to be boxed to be strong enough to use on the front of a car.

74 yes 73 no. Keep in mind the model year is what counts, not the manufacture date because the manufacture date splits the model year. Usually from August to December is actually part of the following model year. Look at the 6th digit of the VIN to find the model year.... if it is a "4" then you have a 1974 model year car. These have the good bumpers.

middle of the road if you ask me, not the best and not the worst. The Chrysler bumpers are the best IMO. Price is set by the local market
