I have a brand new motocraft 2150 and i was wondering what the advantages of running a 2bbl vs my holley 650 would be. It will be going on a mild cammed 327 roughly 450-500 hp. Any help would be appreciated.

Less moving parts = less to go wrong
Bigger primaries = more low end torque

i read that thread already stromi and there wasnt anything useful except get a 2bbl and never look back but i want to know why? I would like to know what the reasoning is behind the statements. I have a brand new 2bbl and a brand new 4bbl and before i bought an adapter plate i was wondering what my actual advantage would be...more torque etc...

Just a matter of opinions. I have ran both, But i prefer the 4 barrels myself.

I'm sorry but mild is nowhere close to 450-500 horse.

Its all personal preference. I prefer my eldelbrock 4bbls with off road kits personally. I would think that the majority of derbyiers prefer the ole 2G.

If I went 2 brrl it would be a 4412. Rochesters are good but don't touch a 4412. 4brrl performance in a 2brrl.
