Hellbent could probably answer that better than I. I have only looked at them, and run against them, and know that quickest way to stop a stock one is full track up the rear. I do have one to build. Mine is a hatch. Is yours a hatch or trunk?

If it doesn't sell , I build it. It is the Oldsmobile version. 78 Starfire (Monza), no m/t

Mines a hatch I've stripped it already just need a motor and tranny for it The rules where ins running allow a 4 bar cage back to rear hump Holding this will help from what you said is the quickest way to Junk it.

I've run up stock back ends of a couple & put the bumper in the dirt.....to the point their wheels were off the ground.

honestly, i'd ditch the hatch and notch it like a chevette...slight pre-bending on the rear post by the notch, and maybe tap the 1/4s in too...

Mine was a trunk car. I wedged it kinda. Left trunk lid attached to springs and layed it all the way down.to the tail light panel. Mine was fully welded. No extra metal though. After 3 or 4 ferniest it nosed sky high. Shoving the steering box through my radiator and hitting the front bumper. There are better pics here on my photobucket account s563.photobucket.com/?src=wap. hope this helps
