Then run bolts they crossmember up thru floor and 9 wore around frame up.to dopr bars everywhere else. A car is.going to bend somewhere. Its inevitable. Each place you fix moves the bend down further so just 9 wire the weak spots and go once you straighten it

Hey all I’m completely new to trying to build a demolition derby car I have a 2000 Volvo v40 that I want to turn into a derby car but honestly I have no clue what I all need to do I’ve removed every light all the glass stripped the interior removed the dash and airbags but beyond that I don’t know what needs to be done. Do I have to wield my trunk shut relocate my fuel? What all is needed or suggested to transform my junker into a semi decent derby car. A little backstory just trying to have fun not in it for the prize I really just want to enjoy the opportunity to smash the crap out of my own vehicle and try and see how many good hits I can get before my car dies please contact me at (208)360-8751 if you are willing to help a new person out

You need to get rules from wherever you are going to run so you know what you can and cannot do

Be careful when you are stripping it and working on it so you don’t cut no wires and then it won’t start. And welcome to Wecrash
