Best method for figure 8 tires

Looking to see what your opinion is on the best way to run/ mount your figure 8 tires

I run the compact class and last year i just put tubes in my tires and ran them only.

Thought id see if there was a better way or a trick to make it better.

Put tubes in them yes first Step second either run a double tire meaning tire in a tire or run a flapper on the out side of tire. Tubes are good but you need to protect the tube
