Here's a picture of how I mount our starter switch. Can't really see the power and fuel pump switches, but they are above the steering column. Steve Attachments:

I used 12 gauge for all of mine. Regular house wiring. Have yet to have a problem. Friend tried 14 or 16 (??) and it fried right through the covering and shorted everything out.

Here's one I just finished holds 2 thousand cranking batt. And all switches with welding lead hook ups easy to just unplug and move to next car. This one I also made to hit the seat bolts on linc. And crown Vic's perfect so just set it in and bolt in existing holes with 3/8 bolts Attachments:

What toggle switches do you guys like to use and are good quality? I can make my own panel to mount them on. Looking to spend less than $40 for two switches and a push button.

I just use cheep ones haven't had any trouble. Just make sure they are high enough amperage for what you have them hooked to. I used my push button allot last year and it never gave any trouble.

How do you wire the distributor on a 82 caprice. Haven't got it home and wasn't sure if it had a bunch of computer crap on it.
