Found two 74 chevy malibu bumpers at the junkyard and picked em up for $25 each. Figured at worse I can use the skins. They look like the impalas with a similar shaped and sized point but have turn signal holes outside the bumper mounts. Anyone know how they hold up, never used one.

Then your not doing it right. Has anybody made one full of lead just cuz? You would not be able to lift a bumper full of lead.. I bet it would weight 550-600 pounds..

Anyone know how they hold up, never used one. first run after 3rd run added a little bit of steel around in and put a fresh skin on the front of the old one after run 6 after 7th run i just straightened the drivers corner with a track hoe and put a half inch plate a little farther than my shock on each side

Ok 74 Elite bumper compared to a mopar pointy? When I got it I thought it was a mopar, thought Chrysler made some without vents in them, did a little research on Li e and came up with a 74 ford torino elite bumper. Point is like 10-11", the backing is solid, and the corners of the backing are folded over and bolted (this is un-altered). Not trying to start an argument, just wanna see where this bumper falls in the list. Looks like a shitbrickhouse.
