had one, worked best when i cut the backing in half off and brought the outer skin closer and welded where ever metal went together. naturally it bent after being nosed by a v- bumper that was rumored 6+ hours of welding in it. ran mine 6 times with no issues

anyone ever just use concret in a bumper is it worth it or should i just plate it seems if i use concret it will crack once its getting beat on

concrete reinforced with re-bar still cracks and breaks.. plus in my personal opinion.. id hate to be the guy tryin to help you "center it up"

Hell yes!! load it full use 4x6 or a 6x6 x 3/8 or x 1/2 cap one end let it cure cap the other end. And use a floor jack in the middle and a couple of extra hands and weld it on. Plus it cheaper than buying steel to stuff it if u have to buy it.

seen a concrete filled bumper still get v'ed and crumble... fill it with steel

i just took the skin off and beat a 3x3 1/4 inch thick in mine and made the point in the middle to keep the original contour of the bumper and plated the top and bottom with 1/4 inch plate to add more strength and welded the skin to the plate and welded straps of metal over the the skin from top to bottom and capped the ends
