Anyone know anything about bumpers on like a 67 Newport? I haven't looked at the car yet but just wondering if these bumpers are any good. I know bumpers of preference typically come from the 70s era just thought I'd check

They are just tin. Not any good for derby use.

Looking at putting 1966 Imperial front and rear bumpers on a 95 Lincoln. Any thoughts? These worth running? picked them up for $80 for the pair.

No, they are tin.
Anything older than 1973 is just a tin bumper with no backing, and 73 only has a few that are OK.
So if anyone has any questions about any bumper older than 1973, the answer is They are not good for derby use.

youll disintegrate anything you dont stuff..... eventually. anyone going nose to nose repeatedly will bend stuff and go through bumpers way faster than a guy who doesn't. ive seen a stock 74 go on 7 cars (12 runs), ive seen a loaded one get twisted in the first run.

besides a pointy or 74 chevy bumper, what would you recommend for a 75 caddy. 76 olds seam welded? any other recommendations.
