Anyone tell me if I'm wasteing my time with this one ? I cant weld it, 3 inches per side is the rule..and that will be 3 inches of bumpershock It looks stronger on the bottom, was thinking perhaps flipped over ? I know the car is no good, but I only need the front bumper Mostly wonder if it has the same width between the mounts and will bolt onto a 76 caprice classic This car is a 75 olds
Will be going on this.... Don't even bother to tell me that its got a good bumper already...A few years ago ..I chucked it

What about the rear bumper ? Its still a GM of the same vintage

Grab the whole car id run it there not that bad No room ;-) and small bolt pattren I'm pretty sure. These guys are crushing about 500 cars starting this week...so if it will fit I'm gonna take it. I bet if I pull it myself I get it for 20-30$ I figure on the seat ,rad (cause it looks like at least a 3 row) dist cap and power stearing pump...I got a hundred bucks in my pocket lol As far as picking up the whole car..... I have to much junk For sure 3 to get rid of and leaning to 4...

Well , after checking distance between the bumper shocks. it was found that the Olds bumper is 6 inches to narrow with no flat spots on the inside to move mounts around It came in at 40 3/4' The 76 Caprice Classic Is 46" center to center as best I was able to tell with limited room to get near the front end So I picked off the front bumper from the 1973 Pontiac , Its a little wider , but it has room to make new holes . Not as strong as the bumper that came on the 76. But unless I can track one down, at least I have a bumper I can work with. I figure that flipping it upside down and hammering the top and bottom outer totally flat will help it. Since we cant stuff or weld them...I may add some bolts 100$ I paid for the bumper and the 2 row rad out of the olds

How are the 79 steel backed Bonneville bumpers front and rear. Rules allow seam weld and cover any vent holes with steel plate.

If I were you, put the impala rear on the front, and use the pontiac on back. Scott
