got a 75' monte front bumper... i know the differences between a 74/75 and a 76-77... my question is.. what all do i need to do to this 75 to have it last like a 74?? PM me if you dont wanna share out loud..

If u weld any bumper it's gonna be stronger. Also a bumper will last 15runs if u last 3min at a time.....

Seam welded with vent holes covered only has 2 runs on it one with vent holes covered, also was not designed to "roll up".... still straight and ready to go on the next car.

76 grand prix bumper...hows it going to hold up compared to say a 74 impala, 76 impala, 74 monte, 76 monte, etc...

Doesn't compare to any of those closest would be a 76 monte as those r the weakest out of the ones stated

I run a 74 impala bumper that I welded the seams on and have ran it 6 times n is still holding up strong

Any opinion on a 76 olds 88 bumper, ittl be for a stock show, can't fill the holes in the frame or weld the bumper shocks, so im not sure what to do with it, I can add more bolds tho

I have 73 impala with a 74 bumper. Should I flip it? Also can't load or hard nose bumpers any other ideas? I would not flip a 74 impala bumper. They are perfect right side up. They are even better seam welded. If flipped it will become a ramp. Are you using the gloves off of the 74 or just the bumper? If using the 73 gloves they need some additional welding to keep them attached to the frame.
