I've never understood the logic of lumping the AMC's in with the Chryslers, but ok.... Maybe it has something to do with Chrysler buying them in the 80's? I don't know alot about AMC, but arent they a mutt brand ? Some parts GM, a little ford, a little Chrysler? They used ford starters and carbs, mopar trannys, and GM distributors. Says the book I have.

I picked up a couple wagons. Never seen one run and cant find any info on building them. Anyone got any ideas on how they do and what areas need attention? Pretty stock shows around me so will most likely be running against 20+ stock vics and a few caprices. JUNK, JUNK, JUNK.. IS NOT WORTH THE WASTED TIME/$ TO run one stock or BUILD... THEY ARE JUNK. Crumbles like paper

Ive never seen a wagon run that I can recall, but all the sedans Ive seen run were garbage, but I couldnt tell you how well they were built either. All Makes Combined ;D

Seen one in a junkyard last week, sedan though. A arms and spindles are same on a spirit, gremlin, or eagle. Those are worth keeping if car is junk.

--- this javelin is a Leafed car.... front looks like a cordoba frame minus the bumper shocks with goofy a-arms with the springs on top of them --- this matador is coil spring.... this car has bumper shocks on it... if no one buys the javelin I wanna run it in a limited derby...

Here's before and after of my 73 Ambassador I ran last year. Got pushed out of the enclosure in two heats and ended my runs quick. Was my first build ever and my first derby ever so really didnt know wtf I was doing. I'll run it again this year. Before After First Heat
