Looking at jetting a Rochester 2 Barrel Carb. How do you know what size of a jet to use. Its going on a mild built 318. Looking for insight on what size jets to use?

There is no simple answer. Jets are just one part of the different fuel distribution elements a carb uses. Idle, power, accelerator systems, among others, put fuel in with the incoming air. Unless you can specifically say how those are setup, and the rest of the setup you have (gear, trans, engine specs), there is no way to offer that advice on here, and do it accurately.

just buy from gropp I have one thats 5yrs old and still works like a champ on the mouse motor it runs on good money spent for piece of mind

Any who what needs to done to a 2jet to make i perform better for derby use. It will be on a very mild 305. comp 268 cam, wieand intake, upgraded hei. 4:88 geared 9in rear

I saved some specs that i wrote down from some old we posts... I think these were for a stock SBC,,,In fact,, I don't remember what jets i'm using in our 2 jet,,, 305.........58 to 64 jet 350.........68 to 74 jet don't take these #s as facts,,,, It may help ya,,, depends how you drive,,,, ratio,, ya know... .....................lenny

u need a few thing when asking this ? motor, heads,cam, trans, rearend gear also tire size and driving style(sandbagger-wide open) style of car its goin (old iron-new style)
from what i hear u need all these to be able to tune it in exactly for your car
