Any year. ford used same rocker on all of them. Use the 351M/400 rocker and the 302's fulcrum. I always take them apart and clean the rocker in parts washer to make sure there's no gunk in the oiler hole. Put some ARP lube on the fulcrum. While at junkyard look for a V8 ford explorer or Mercury mountaineer. My pick and pull charges $55 per head. Explorer/mountaineers had GT40 heads its one of the 3 factory castings that are worth a hoot. The others a are any 289 heads or 69-70 351w heads. The 289 heads have small 52-55cc chambers that boost compression. The 69-70 351w heads had I think 60cc chambers nut had largest runners of all factory castings.

anyone know of an upper radiator hose/adapter/pipe that I can use to move it to the drivers side to use a double pass drivers side radiator rather than buying a new water pump? I need a new hose anyhow. I may have an old passenger side water pump laying around but dunno if it's any good.

Looking for some help on an issue. I have a 351w with a 2g carb and is the good 'ole points distributor.
Then engine runs and revs fine when not in gear but when in gear upon hittig the gas pedal it seems to backfire(white puff of smoke) or pop and hesitate through the carb. It usually will die but other times is just keeps popping and hesitating, but only under load. Today the issue seemed worse when the engine was cold but still did it when it was warm just not as often.
What could be causing this?
I have adjusted the timing to about 12 deg

Sounds like Bad timing chain and double check firing order. Make sure you have it wired right.

Looking on eBay for the 1.7 rockers. Due to laziness, no time to go to pull apart, ect... The rockers on others say that guide plates are required. Are these the right rockers or no?

Ford engine guys I have a question. I have a 90 roller 302 from a grand marquis, I've got gt40p heads from an explorer, I'm either going to run a cast iron 2 barrel intake with a Holley 4412 carb or a 4 barrel intake with the adapter to the 2 barrel. Should I get a b303 camshaft and leave the stock rockers or get the 1.7 rockers and leave the stock cam? I've read that sometimes the b303 requires the pistons to be clearanced. Also a stall converter should be used with that cam. I am going to use the aod trans.

Do I need to do anything special to make the 351m rockers work other than just use the 302 fulcrum?
