Not really a good derby car. Might do OK in a enduro type race.

not a suicide if its a mark series, and basically junk and not worth the time to make it any better, go for a quick run one and have fun deal. or scrap it and buy a better car

Yeah its got a 460 in it with a c6 hooked to it. Will it have a 9 inch rear in it? An it is a mark 3 contental I though it would be a good car but idk i am not really a old iron ford man allthough i am building a 63 galaxie.

The Mark III was based on the four-door Thunderbird model,[2] which was first introduced for 1967. Iacocca wanted to put the Thunderbird's development investment to better use than just the Thunderbird model alone, which "was dying in the marketplace."[2] Instead, Ford would use that investment as a platform for several models. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_Continental_Mark_IIIThe mark III was introduced in april 68 as an early 69 model... I wouldn't call it junk, with everything the rules will make or break the car. Probably not a big show special type car though.

These cars are junk no matter what rule book ya use.. They might take 2 hard front end hits before tha front end plows dirt... Maybe The engine however is desirable. They have good heads (C8VE) .. They are Identical to D0VE heads.. And yes it should have a 31 spline 9 inch. Do yaself a favor and save tha good parts , scrap tha car and buy something worth running.. They aren't worth the effort it takes to weld tha doors shut. IMO

Not really, IMO. Just to soft in the front and rear. Maybe if it was in really clean shape, and you ran against nothing but really rusty cars.
