Is there room to put a stack on a subaru I'm just curious the reason for stacks through the hood on a Subaru. Where is the starter on an EJ? Seems like stacks would add cool guy points but would build more heat near the starter. Lol that was my reasoning for them 6ish years ago when I built them. Still the best sounding set of stacks I have heard on a compact! Now I would build them off the manifolds, I hate the idea of exhaust under the car.

Just picked up an 02 outback. Going to be built to Stoney Roberts rules. Any tips or tricks to help me out. Or pics to see how they bend.

I got a 88 Subaru carb. I'm new at this import stuff, should I go front or rear wheel drive, and should I completely rip all the vacuum stuff out and cap it? The wiring and dash.. should I rip all that shit out and just run my main wires? and if I go front wheel drive how do I go about only making it front wheel drive?

No poked hole on sump side drained gas then poked 20+ holes the size of a quarter throughout whole tank. Flushed out with water after. That tank would literally be impossible to take out. Would have to drop the whole rear of the car. The other crappy part is that with stock tank being there, leaves only a 2 inch gap to run bolts for inside tank.

So I wanna take back my previous statement about the power... was fine around the house until we got to the track today and it took a lot of rpm to get it moving. Made 4-5 decent hits for the size track we were on and lost the clutch. Did research and found that you can only make automatics 2wd without losing power unless you wanna do a gearing kit. So another words if rules don't alow awd then don't run a m/t it's not worth the time spent. Will post pics tomorrow. On the plus side I threw on a stack last minute and it was totally worth it! Sounded so good.

I would hate to scrap it being that it is barely touched but I also don't wanna put to much time and money into it to do another 10 min run.

I like super m idea, try locking the rear driveline from spinning. I'm sure eventually it'll bomb shell your transmission or transfer case but given what you got seems to me the best option
