Shove some tubing in there, put a good stock rear bumper on, wrap it up.

I was thinking about useing a 2by4 of steel for the bumper under the trunk lid

I did this same thing on my Autocross car to keep guys from wanting to rear end me going into the corners. This is it when I got the car. Ran one race like this then cut it off. Left trunk floor and most of rear rails sticking out. I made a back bumper out of 3x3 tubing. Most guys won't want to chance driving into the back of it like this for fear of taking their own front wheels out. Only pic I have right now of it cut down.

No not yet but i know what i am doing now haha i have just been plating the fram i am putting the car back in the shop today i would have it done but i haven't been able tto buy the steel i have been spending a ton on my new motor and trans
