I've been wondering if you were to make a large crease on the inside of the trunk, do you guys think it would suck the sheet metal together when getting hit? In theory, it would suck the quarters together(down) the more it was hit...basically self wedging until the frame comes up. I've been playing with some thin gauge metal with good success but have nothing really to compare to car wise. I had to read it twice, but I get what you are saying. If you are getting hit places other than the sides it really wouldn't do much unless the wedging was already done. I can't see myself doing it, but I've seen weirder things in demo

i bought a really nice air chisel from my mac tool guy the other day, has a beautiful case, 4 or 5 bits, including the hammer tip, packs a wollop, and has a regulator right on the handle to slow it down in sensitive situations. it's a nice tool and well worth 300$ i paid as last yr i creased by hand with ball peen hammers

Two ballpeens one big, one small, one small sledge and about 8-14 hours of free time! The Snap On air hammers are the best I've seen by far for creasing. Bad thing is its easy to go too far in a hurry with one of those.

Hitting it with a hammer/air chisel alot, strategically. There's a video on YouTube somewhere of somebody doing it.

I've found what makes fenders a litter easier to crease is to secure it all tight to the car. If that makes any sense loo

Just use a regular hammer. It's a good workout. It may take awhile, but it's worth it.
