No protectors. Can only use plates. I get 6, but if there is “rust” they can only be used with the 6.

Itll bend in the box then, unless you want to just plate the whole box only and then have none elsewhere

This is the deal if you stop the box from bending then you have where the side rail bend inward an front frame pushing back an then when all said an done the lower a arm is in the box an car is done. It's a pick the poison kind of deal. I fix my box an get 4 hard runs out of it before a arm is in the box. But I'm cold bent 9 inchs an each show I bend it back to the 9 inchs when I put plates on an weld them plates on while under stress. I run stock class with no protectors at all with this car. An just hardnosed.

I’m allowed 6 plates they will be in box, right behind a arm, and on front frame by sway bar. I’ve fixed behind box. I just can’t figure out about stopping box to bend. I’ve cold bended, but still doesn’t help. It sucks. I was just curious if anybody else had any recommendations.

I’ve tried for the life of me to stop the boxes bending. That is where my cars usually bend. Any advise? Can’t tilt or cold bend. I typically pull it down a little. I’ve even plated in front of boxes. Any advice would help.! Thats where they will bend most of the time. Even when rules allow protectors, kickers, extra body mounts etc... You can try a softer bumper as well if all the above isn’t allowed. Without it being tilted or cold bent the crush boxes are like a pivot point because the angle of the front frame. This is all my opinion tho.

If you can figure it out from there you can put your plates else where

I might have missed it somewhere but what is everyone using for front and rear coils. Its a kicker class car, welded down arms, all thread shocks but still like there needs to be a heavy spring in there just in case. Was thinking of moving stock front to the rear

Guys have been buying coils from SKI-Inc for the fronts. Me personally If i was welding the a-arms down and rod for the shock i wouldn't put time into spring unless you think you need it for a support inside the spring pocket. The stock fronts are too short in the rear. I use old iron gm fronts in the rear or something comparable...

I wouldn’t buy from ski but ya the spring pocket saver springs are good for the front, big block springs for the back. That’s just me

I know it's in here but good God please don't make me look. I remember something about it but what do I do if I don't have the instrument panel for my 2001 p71 to keep my alternator charging?
