My fords seem to keep bending behind the crush box. It takes a while to bend but thats where everyone of them bends. I usually tilt at the box till they are level. Im not using a pulley protector or dp maybe thats why. Just kinda wondering if Im missing something.
2 letters: D-P Itll still go there but itll slow it down
Pulley protector helps in front of the A-arms if you have a sway bar.......
I'm sure this has been talked about many of times but were do u tilt mostly, the crossmember or the crush boxes? I've always done it at cross member just cause I don't like touching the box, and what's a easy way to get the rear end down? All our shows u couldn't run low but this year they changed the rules.

If i could post pic on here i would but we weld a piece of pipe to the rear-end that the coil spring sets over and drill a hole threw it and bolt the chain to it. Then we run the chain up through the spring and spring tower and do the same on the other side. Then we bolt the chain together in the middle. This way you can adjust the height of the rear if you need too.
Your screen name is lowvic but you don't know how to make them low? Lol
No, you don't "need" the chain but if something happens to where your all thread breaks or stretches, etc it would be a good idea to have the chain so your car doesn't become a dragster in the azz or your springs don't go flying out.
