Im going to put some centers in the dakota wheels and try them. They feel considerably heavier than the astro wheels i found. And lots of guys use those.

THe Astro wheels tend to be soft but are easy on suspension and axles IMO.

They should clear ball joints. Any ranger rim or jeep will bolt right on a 80's ford or mopar with out putting centers in them. The 14in d holes off rangers you might have to team center out to clear hub.

I was wondering how strong these wheels are and what the ones on the right came off of? I know the ones on the left came off a mazda.

The easiest way is to just put it behind the wheel and weld it in but you may have to use longer studs. The guys that do this are running the longer race car studs.

Ray I like the idea of that but for gsa rules you are not allowed to reinforce the wheel like that. Ford so your saying weld the center to the back side and leave the stock center on the outside? If doing.it like that how would you use the universal centers for Ford and Chevy? Thanks
