Hmm, I wonder if anyone tried dimpling up by the package tray lol. Look at Nates 5th picture, it gives a pretty good after shot of where it was dimpled. Now as you can see it did roll again after the first dimple. That was completely by chance, we think it was due to the guy that repeatly hit that corner.

On 79 an newer wagons which ones have gussets? I hear the wood grain wagons suppose to be the stronger ones.

1988, the year when the front fascia was changed on Vic and marquis, was when the gussets were added behind the crush box. I can't tell if you're joking about the wood grain but there's no spec difference to anything else on the car other than the film they applied the finish with.

I have 2 88 grand marquis at home 2 89s marquis and a 90 marquis and the 90 is the only one with the gusset. Also have friends with 88-89 crown Vic's and they don't have the gusset either. I looked at a 91 grand marquis and it had the gusset. Leaves me to believe that the 90-91 were the only gusset cars. JMO

For the fronts is it better to leave the shock how it is or hardnose it with out welding a arm forward

What engine mounts do I need to mount a 460 in a ltd2 wagon?it had a 351 m in it bit blew up lol so can't use it but engine mounts aren't lining up

All the box vics iv seen that had the gusseted boxes also had air bags. Not sure if they both happened at the same time or not but that's just what I noticed.

Well I finally ran my wagon 77 ltd2 held up great. First heat was so so lol got put on a wall by an imp that sucked. After a few hard hits. Condi beat I got down t o the final 3 cars but no do so of course front end got ran over by an imp took out dizzy but the 460 I put in never missed a beat ran great till then. The car impressed me a lot frame st I'll great shape slight kink on pass side hump but will plate humps for next year. If some one would pm me there number I will send pics to have posted up that would be great thank u in advance
