What are you guys doing for the flange for your driveshaft? Wouldn't you need to change the stock piece over to a CV Flange to bolt your slider driveshaft to?

Are you putting yours in a coil or leaf car Stormi? I spent a hour the other night trying to find a truss system for the one I'm getting but didnt have much luck I think I'll wing it and see what I come up with. TOM

All the 8 lug rear ends I have seen the pumpkin is offset. Are you just supposed to let the drive shaft run a little sideways? It seems like if I line up the pinion flange with the tail shaft one tire will stick out real far.

The Dana 60s have small axles compared to the other floaters. same spline as a mopar 8.75 I think... It's all just smaller stuff than a 14 bolt. The axle flange is larger on the 60 tho...

Anyone ever heard of or ran an Eaton 8 lug rear. I dont know what it came out of but the case looks like a big Ford 9 inch?

More ground clearance than a 60 or a 14bolt. You can use the 14 bolt side gears and axles in them. They came in 72 and older chevy pickups. There's a long thread on Pirate 4x4 about them.

A Dana 60 I inquired has 16 spline been told it doesn't matter in a floater what spline you have. Is this true?

I have a 14 bolt corporate rear end that I plan on make a pinion brake for, my question is... I broke the threaded piece that the yoke bolts to (pinion) so what is involved in changing the threaded piece? Where can I get one? And what else do I need to know about it? Thanks!
