It's gonna take a lot more than wire to make it 5 years, full outlaw is acceptable more often than not

I know its gonna take more than wire my concern is building a welded car for figure 8s and not being able to run it used to be as long as it wasn't dangerous to other drivers u could do whatever in a figure 8s full front end cages ect ect

it still is outlaw i mean outlaw pays 1000 etc and wire class pays 300... but in my oppinion build a wire car and just drive smart and try to stay out of trouble i built a wire class car and ran the aledo derby both figure 8s at stronghurst and both figure 8s in roseville but with monmouth not allowing welded cars any longer its looking like welded cars are gonna start getting weeded out people only wanna watch stuff not bend for long... they like the fun and more twisted metal and parts breaking in the wire class more fun for the spectator and they pay the purses

tracks around here have already weeded out welded derbys and monmouth said they dont want welded class figure 8s any more and if they even decide to let them run itll be for entry fee i dont see how wire class is a waste? maybe some people dont want to spend 6 months in welding time and a retarted amount of money on a car id rather build a car in a week and have fun and be able to run it in derbys and figure 8s and spend less money by far, im 16 my budget isnt that big and it dosent take alot of money to be competative i dont need 2000 plus dollars to knock guys dicks in the dirt i had a low budget car and i did pretty well this year and had far more fun than i would have running tanks

in all reality you dont need a full outlaw to do this and this is monmouth which i dont know where you run m16 but this will be one of the tracks he would run at www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXO-E7Cfaes

Wire class is waste huh m16? Thats funny, i think all these half ass built outlaw cars with channel iron are a waste. Heavy built figure 8 cars are soon gonna be a thing of the past. Someone will be hurt and or killed in this class very soon the way things are going. It's only a matter of time. these guys wanna build these tanks and drive like morons someone will die. People are sick of welding and getting there shit torn up by these toothless morons who can't drive. The wire class is the future. That is a fact, look at car counts in West Central Illinois. What class has the most cars. Just sold my outlaw car this fall because of this.

derbying any car is a waste in most peoples eyes. If a person buys a car with thier own money they can do whatever they want to do with it. Actually m16 i have all my teeth and a college degree. I also have plenty of cars and plan to run them all in a wire class, not a waste at all for a 25 year old p.o.s. that I can scrap for what i pretty much have in them. People are sick of running hard cars, its a dying sport and hard cars will be the first to die.

Heavy iron cars are dead in figure 8 races. They used to get 70 cars in the old iron. Now they get 35-40. Wire cars are taking over this area. You get 5-10 weld cars and 30 wire cars for demos around here.
Someone WILL die in a heavy built wire figure 8 car. They will break their neck, PERIOD. this class is not safe in west central IL anymore. ALL the old good drivers are gone. What you have left is idiots who drive through cars instead of using their brakes. Cars that can stand up to a semi crash. Cars are not bending the people are. Stretchers, neck braces and life flight is gonna be the gold standard if this doesnt stop. I have sold all my 70s cars and bought 90s wire gms.
