Okay I have read all 6 pages of post and i have a question that wasnt answered.
I plan on buying Nerat Yokes what outer diameter or inner diameter tri oval tube do i need to buy to be able to work with the yokes.
Weird question has anybody added a double cardian to a slider or do you think that is a horrible idea ?
I messaged E2 to possibly get a slider but its either get an e2 or make my own.

It works fine but if you have to buy the shafts and the ends and put everything together and E2 will be better and probably cheaper. I had to buy the ends from nerat when I built mine, I had all of the other parts (a used pto shaft, donor double cardan driveshaft) and still had nearly $200 into it. Granted that amount includes the transmission yoke but if you have to buy the pto shaft new you will most likely be over the cost of the E2

3 or 4 will work for slide in i find that by the time it pushes back that far it starts to come out.
