Yes, I'll be there, but not vending. If you have something to pick up or drop off I'll be relaxing in my coach/trailer most of the weekend visiting with friends. You can stop by and chat on the really high quality couches in my trailer. Only time I get to hang out with some of the boys from up north, eh?

To answer some PMs here so I don't have to keep typing the same thing:
1) I currently am not offering carb and distributor combos as a stand alone product. All of the cores I have are slotted for engine builds this fall. If the engine side slows down and I can offer them separate, I will. But with the list of engines in the shop, I don't see that happening until January 2018.
2) The only engine I can have available for sale or delivery to Blizzard Bash is a 350 full roller with aftermarket heads, screw in studs, etc. This critter is fresh but has some recycled parts in it. As will all of my engines, it will win about any show you want it to. Currently is slated for rochester 2G carb, but you can have me upgrade to aluminum intake and holley 4412 if you want.
$3750 with 2G carb. $4250 with aluminum intake/holley 4412 and billet adapter. Don't call or send an email saying you might be interested in it, because might be doesn't mean anything to me. It is either sold or not.
Other than that, as I said, I'll just be hanging out in the trailer. Look for the white Freightliner coach with the stacker trailer behind it.

To try and make my earlier post clear, when an engine is available, it is available. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm trying to save you time from calling me or sending me emails about things in the future.
That doesn't mean ask me if one will be available on Feb 1. I have no idea with trade in engines what will come in, what can be built, etc. New ones are available all the time, but if you are on a budget and want a slightly less expensive unit be prepared to buy it when they are available. The November-December or early January are when they are available most of the time. If you call in March when we have 15 pending orders there probably won't be anything left.
I know this sounds basic, but I thought it would help.

A quick congratulation to the guys on Team Kansas, winners of Blizzard Bash. Many of you already know Tom, Curt, and Joe Gegg run my engines. Great to see Curt and Tom in the winner's circle again. This isn't a post about how my engines did - I rarely post about wins anymore because we've won most everything already, and posting wins used to be factual, now its just hype and sometimes not even true with other builders (as many of you are aware). So forget that for the rest of this post.
The reason Team Kansas winning a show like Blizzard Bash brings a smile to my face is because it gives me hope that the future of the sport still exists. I support that hope with the following:
Look at the cars, the driving, the subtle way they won: no flashy 800 horsepower crap engines, no grandstanding, no hype. Just good driving, hard work between rounds and good dependable parts. I don't know Justin all that well, but have known Chad for many years, and we talk a fair amount about cars, parts, and the politics of the sport. I don't build his engines, he does just fine by himself. But if you look at the entire teams driving, the builds, the low cost (relative to other cars on the track) to get the winner's circle, you have to wonder why people really want all of the flashy stuff.
The Gegg brothers came to be customers because of Jimmy Johnson. Jimmy said he had some young guys he was helping out with the transition from compact cars to full size, and was shuffling some of his older parts to them to try out and use. I was skeptical when I first met them because I have rarely had a good experience with compact guys making the jump to full size. Not because of skill, but usually because of attitude. These guys were different. They wanted to learn; wanted to follow recommendations; weren't there to tell me how much they already knew about MY products in their cars. They pay when they are supposed to pay, drop off engines to be freshened when they say they will, and pick them up when they say they will. They ask before they do something to repair an engine (valve cover gaskets, open up a carb to look for dirt, etc). They continue to succeed.
Because of the way they took care of business (3 of the team members never broke a stick all weekend), it really reminded me of how I had to come up through the ranks back in the 90's and 2000's when I still drove. Learn, work, experiment, get your ass handed to you, don't cry, and then work and learn some more.
Part of the reason I have trouble understanding the team derby concept these days is the dichotomy it presents: Drivers who want to be recognized as individuals for loud engines, outrageous paint jobs, hype, wasted money, and similar solo accolades, yet the safety net of having other people on your team share the responsibility if you don't win with all of the aforementioned self promotion.
Congrats to Chad, Justin, Tom and Curt. No flash, just results.

It appears that I have had some technical glitch with wecrash.com. I haven't been on here in a while because it wasn't showing anything new to me when I went online either with a my mobile device or my computer at my office. I'm being told it was some kind of "cookies" issue but I have zero technical knowledge.
I will spend today and tomorrow catching up with messages and posts.
My sincere apologies to anyone this has affected. If you ever can't get me on here, please look at my website and email or call via that. I would not recommend using the messenger on here until I have all of the bugs worked out.
